Trip to Huesca, weekend in the Pyrenees Mountains

Here is the first picture of many mountains. The Pyrenees Mountains make up the border between Spain and France.

Looking into one of the many valleys.

Pictures from a wall around the village L´Ainsa.

Looking at the village from the wall.

Nico in the village square.

Me, Juanlo and Raquel (a little blurry) in one of the streets in the village.

The next day at the beginning of a 7km hike up the mountain to a waterfall called the Horse´s Tail.

Nico wanting to play games on the way up.

At this point I think Nico is wondering where in the world we are going.

Taking a break on the way up for a little sugary sucker.

Another break to play with the rocks.

This part had snow(by the way we started out on this trek at 10:30 and finished at around 6 stopping for a bit to have lunch).

Nico cat napping.

We could only use the stroller maybe half the time, mostly on the way down. Normally, I had it strapped to my back using my sweatshirt to keep it in place. (pic of this to come when I get them from our friends.)

A flat area almost to the end where we had lunch and Nico and I camped out waiting for the rest to come back from the waterfall at the end.

This is about half an hour futher than Nico and I went. Pictures thanks to Samuel.

The famous Horse´s Tail waterfall.

At the top.

Having luch when everyone got back.

Finally making our way back down. Nico was sleeping.

Picture from the road.

Nico making a call from one of the last remaining telephone booths in Spain.

Road we took to get to village where the telephone booth is. ( This is for two way traffic)

A platue in the mountain.

Picture on our way down the road.

Nico loves the water. We have heard the word agua about 100 million times over the past 4 days.
